Noor Anita Binti Haji Mohd Tahir (Anita Tahir), born in October 8th, 1977 in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Never really grew up in Johor Bahru. The youngest in the family of 4 - dad, mom, elder brother and yeah, me. The most rebellious for sure. Always a black sheep in a family & relatives. Doesn't really matter anymore. I am oh-so used to it. Don't wanna give a single sh*t, single f**k about it. Not anymore. I am too tired to think about what other people think about me.
Not very lady like, a tomboy if I have to label myself; but I am straight. LOL! Love traveling & beaches. Very much into football (I am an avid supporter of LFC and FCB, a clear message that I am a MUFC hater), music, movies and boys. Hahaha! Have lots of passion in cooking and experimental with ingredients to creates or constructs food. Friendly, bubbly, happy-go-lucky, funny, wicked... sometimes annoying, irritating, cold and distance, too.
Quit my job in Singapore back in May 2011 to attend the audition(yes, just an audition) of MasterChef Malaysia (season 1). MasterChef is a franchise reality TV program/show, just fyi. After a month of wait, I finally selected as one of the Top40 but unfortunately I was among the last 7 people being eliminated before the final Top24 - for something that wasn't my forte, baking/pastry/desserts! Urghhhh!!! Honestly, I still feel the bitterness of being eliminated. Therefore, I am improving myself from time to time. People, embrace yourself, Anita Tahir is coming! Hahaha!
Doesn't matter how long it takes for me to be a well-known inspiring chef, I will make my way to achieve my dreams. Cheers!
